Stone Roses - Fools Gold

They're one of the most influential UK rock bands of the 90's, and their debut self titled release of '89 is widely regarded as one of the great British albums, thanks to a stack of classic tunes, just like this one.

I got into the Stone Roses pretty late, but have certainly always loved what ever I've heard from them, including front man Ian Brown's solo stuff which is pretty damn awesome.

Fools Gold is certainly one of the band's greatest tunes. It has such a cruisy laid back feeling with a bass and guitars funkier than my used basketball gear.

  3. Yep, you're correct Al. Later in '89, Fools Gold was released as a double side single. Fools Gold was supposed to be a b-side, and ended up being one of the band's biggest songs.
