Can't Keep - Eddie Vedder

Eddie Vedder, the ocean and a Uke - there's nothing more beautiful, awe inspiring and awesome.

Here Eddie does his solo cover version of Pearl Jam's Can't Keep off of the band's 2002 album Riot Act.

Simply awesome, love the power of those waves and the fast camera angles.

Sufjan Stevens - John Wayne Gacy, Jr.

Sufjan Stevens has one of those voices that's simply amazing and gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

Those goosebumps really kick in when I listen to the lyrics of this song.

It's a beautiful sounding song with a very scary topic which tells the story of one of America's most horrific prolific serial killers.

Over six years Gacy Jr raped and murdered 33 young men, 26 of which were found buried in the crawl space under his house, three others were buried elsewhere on his property while four more were discarded in a river. Gacy was a well respected community member who did lots of charity work and dressed as a clown.

Nada Surf - Blonde On Blonde

Well... Nada Surf, Blonde On Blonde, it's just one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

The New York three piece have been around since 92 and pumped out six albums in that time. This stunning tune is from their 2002 release, Let Go.

It's just such a soothing song that feels like a trip through the clouds in the arms of a loved one. Every time this song comes on I just drift away and forget about everything that troubles me.

It's like a soul cleansing in the form of pop rock genius, so hit the play button, find a comfortable seat, close those eyes and let your musical spa treatment begin.

Eddie Vedder - Society

Wow, this movie and soundtrack still gives me shivers every time I watch or listen to it.

Into The Wild is one of the most inspiring, beautiful, happy and sad movies I've ever seen. Eddie Vedder does the entire sound track and absolutely nails it.

The movie is based on a true story about a boy who throws off the constraints of society and escapes to the wild of Alaska to be at one with nature and his thoughts. The movie is recreated from the journal logs that were found years later. The relationships he makes along the way are heart breaking, emotional, and pure. Damn, I wanna watch it again right now.

Eddie Vedder is coming out to play in Australia shortly, and I for one am so damn excited.

Enjoy this beautiful song. XXX

Band Of Horses - No One's Gonna Love You

This is such a beautiful song, although the title may be slightly misleading (it's missing the More Than I Do at the end). I've always dug this tune, but now it brings back one awesome memory.

Sitting on a balcony in Thailand with my beautiful lady and two of our most awesome friends, getting very loose and watching a huge tropical electric storm rolling towards us. This song was playing and we were all feeling so great. It was a great night in a foreign land, and if I remember correctly it lead to our two friends getting tattoos the next day that read 'The Ever Living Ghost Of What Once Was'.

Great song, cool tattoos, awesome electrical storm, amazing Thailand times. Love Band Of Horses.

Bat For Lashes - What's A Girl To Do

Damn I love Bat For Lashes, Natasha Kahn has an amazing voice and is pretty damn beautiful at the same time.

I love this haunting song so damn much that I almost killed it for myself by playing it a little too much... and then I saw the film clip! Such a cool idea and executed really well. It embraces it's inner Donnie Darko a bit, which just makes it even cooler.

Anyone else feel like grabbing the bmx and stunt pegs and hitting the streets tonight in animal masks?

Regina Spektor - Laughing With

So I’ve been trying to sort out my top 10 albums of this year. It’s been really enjoyable actually going back and finding the gems from earlier this year that my instant gratifiable brain has forgotten about due to the next ‘cool’ thing that’s popped on my desk.

One of the g...ems that has fallen through the cracks in 09 for me was Regina Spektor’s album, Far.

It’s got some great tunes, and this is one of them. She’s such a beautiful girl, and her voice is amazing.

Hope you enjoy.
