Pulp - Disco 2000

Driving in the car on my way to work this morning I was greeted by a cracking tune from Brit-Pop's glorious past. That's right, I'm talking about the recently reformed Pulp!

Emma Swift of FBI radio certainly got my day off to a cracking start with this song as I sung along to every word. Nothing like a good sing-a-long to get the day rolling.

So like I said, Pulp recently reformed in 2010 and are set to play a whole stack of festivals in the UK, and I've got my fingers and toes all crossed and hoping that we may see them in Australia for Splendour In The Grass. Now that would be awesome.

Blur - Country House

Oh Britpop, Damon Albarn and Blur, now I love thee!

My iPod was trying to tell me something this morning, as it randomly played this song twice, and I'm only on the bus for 15 minutes. And boy was I thankful!

Blur is the prefect music to start the day to. It always puts a smile on my face, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone with that one.

I'm pretty pumped to see Damon and the Gorillaz out here in Australia in December. So I hope you enjoy this slice of old school Albarn to make your morning a happy one.
