Jack White - Freedom At 21

The White Stripes, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs (The Saboteurs in Australia) and now his solo gear, Jack White can do no wrong.

I went and saw Mr White earlier this week... what can be said, he's simply the coolest man on the planet. He was amazing live and blew everyone away - playing hits from across his entire career.

Here's his latest film clip taken from his debut solo album, it's a cracker!

Justice - New Lands

Ever wondered what the hell a music film clip would look like if you combined the music of Justice, the crazy stupid budgets of Red Bull, plus a good dose of Tron, baseball, gridiron, roller blading, motorbike riding and lacrosse chucked in for good measure?

The answers 'probably not' but if the above has got you intrigued then look no further, the answer is below in the clip for New Lands!

The epic Justice tune has been given the epic Red Bull treatment. So what do you think of it?

Django Django - WOR

WOR what is it good for? Absolutely everything!

Take a trip into your subconscious on this expansive, psychedelic, mind bending musical journey.

This sweet tune by Django Django is four and a half minutes of other worldly bliss - acid tabs of awesome for your ears!

Glenn Frey - The Heat Is On

I was watching a movie called '30 Minutes Or Less' with Danny McBride and Jesse Eisenberg, pretty decent film and this cracking old tune was featured during a car chase.

Jogged my memory back to where I first heard this track, as part of the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack. Now that's a cracking movie, Eddie Murphy at his best.

I'm not sure what Glenn Frey is up to these days but his track The Heat Is On has certainly stood the test of time. A true great 80's tune.

Enjoy!

Rudimental - Feel The Love feat John Newman

It's fair to say that if you looked at my music collection you're not going to come across much drum and bass but thanks to Rudimental and their killer new DnB monster Feel The Love that's about to change.

This song is just all kinds of awesome! It's super addictive and I love the clip.

The video gives a real life look at a youth group from North Philadelphia that is run out of the Fletcher St Stables where people look after and ride horses in what is now a built up urban area. The program is part of a long standing tradition of urban cowboys that date backs over a century.

Anyway, enough from me. Check out my new favourite and let me know what you think.

Jesus Christ (the indie band) - My Best Friend

This is a public service music announcement thanks to Powelly...

I am loving this album at the moment In Ghost Like Fading... I have had it on rotation for a while now and I am still not sick of it.

This clip is one of the standout tracks. I'm not sure if it's official or if someone has made if for a project as I couldn't seem to find any other clips - either way this song is a good one to give you a taste of what this band sounds like.

Hailing from Brooklyn, as are most bands these days, they have a psychedelic soul/folk sound which like this track and most others, starts of pretty mellow and then builds into quite powerful/soulful even ballad like crescendos.

The clip is pretty simple, there are no band shots, just a story - which I think works with the track.

If you like this, then check out the album!

Enjoy.
