Justice - On'n'On

One of my favourite albums from last year was the cracking release Audio, Video, Disco because to put it simply, when I need to get pumped up for something I just chuck it on and get in the zone for what ever needs doing.

On'n'On is a cracking tune and I love the steady constant beat that kicks on throughout the whole song. The visuals of the clip are quite hypnotic, which is kind of something that we've come to love from most Justice clips.

Anyway, been playing this tune lately so it gets my song of the day. Hope you like.

Koop - Koop Island Blues

Today's song is brought to you by the fleet footed lanky lovable character that is Nicholas T!

Howdy music loves, during my time overseas recently I have met people from all over the world and been introduced to aw hole range of different musical styles.

I was fortunate enough to become great friends with a guy who I lived with in Copenhagen. Hans of Germany (no surprises with a name like that) told me about a band called Koop.

Each night we would listen to their album, and many others, while we made dinner in our communal kitchen. We would never tire of hearing Koop and 'Island Blues' is just one of many songs that I fell in love with.

it is mellow, very chill, has a mesmerising melody and is a song that reminds me of good times with great friends.

The song speaks of heartbreak and longing for someone you can't have, which was appropriate for me, and I am sure is something that will resonate with many.

Mutemath - Allies

Mutemath are coming to Australia in May and I for one couldn't be happier!

Sure, they're album Odd Soul was one of the best kick-arse albums of 2011, and yes the lead single Blood Pressure had one of the best film clips. But it's the new film clip for Allies which has got me super-pumped for their live show.

Seriously, check out this mind altering live set! That light wall is amazing! Then there's the band and the crowd, it's damn near impossible to tell who's having the most fun.

Sure as hell looks like a live show worth checking out.

Bloods - All The Things You Say Are Wrong

If you don't know the Bloods yet, you sure as hell will soon!

They're a kick-arse surfer rock band from Sydney with two super hotties up the front and one rad dood on the skins.

They play music that makes you move and groove all with snarling girl 'tude.

Their single All The Things You Say Are Wrong will no doubt see them take over the world and the clip features two super-cute skater boys that really get the heart racing.

Check them out, play them, love them, tell ya friends about them, then remind ya friends how awesome you are for finding them first!
